Crispy Cheese Biscuits Recipe

  • Air Fryer
  • Cheese grater


  • 7 oz Gruyere cheese grated
  • 5 oz margarine
  • 4 oz heavy cream
  • 5 oz plain flour
  • 1 tsp mild paprika powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder

Ingredients to Finish

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • Poppy seeds
  • Cumin seeds
  • Pistachio nuts ground
  • White and black sesame seeds


  • Put the margarine, cheese, salt and paprika in alarge mixing bowl. Pour in the cream and stir to combine until smooth.
  • Sift the flour and baking powder over your worksurface and make a hollow. Knead the cheese mixture into the flour and bakingpowder to form a dough.
  • Knead as little as possible to prevent the doughbecoming tough.
  • Roll the dough out to 3-4 mm thickness and cutout cookie shapes. Mix the beaten eggs with the milk and brush the cookies.Garnish with poppy seeds or sesame seeds.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 330 F and cook cookiesfor about 12-15 minutes until ready.
  • Serve and enjoy!
